PostSubject: Quick Reference Guide   Quick Reference Guide Icon_minitimeSun 22 Jun 2008 - 19:57

This is for when you need a little help but don't want to have to search through a long guide to find it.

Mobile Fleets:

Generic Guide:
30000 FT
5000 CV
5000 RC
2500 DE
2000CR
500 HC
enough FC to carry hangar units

This fleet is what I would consider a well built fleet. The ratios here do not favor any one particular unit, which makes it hard for the fleet to be HC'd or otherwise shield raided. The number of units makes fighter drops messy, and will generally make it hard to hit the fleet for insane profits (but it can still be done, don't fool yourself. No fleet is invincible). Adjust the number of fighters as you see fit, but I generally find that 15 fighters for every cruiser is a pretty good ratio starting out, but you might want to up it to 20:1 or 25:1 depending on your needs. Add in Dreads/Titans/Leviathans at your own discretion/risk.

Battle Guide:

Fighter heavy fleets w/o HB/DE OR bases with large fighter screens (5k+/disruptor or 10k+/ring) with fewer than 12-14 CC: use HC (general guideline is to make sure that the opposing units can't hit above your HC shields)

Bases with 14+ CC: FT to clear meat, FT+ CR to clear defenses ( use a titan/levi if only Disruptors and below, with no CR/HC and above, if you have them and the money for repairs. Try not to attack these bases unless necessary.)

Fighter heavy fleets with few HB, CV, DE, etc: FT drop to kill the BO/HB/CV/DE/IB (if any), then HC shield raid

Mixed Fleets ( FT, CV, RC, DE, CR, etc.) with no Titans and above: FT drop + FT/CR main attack

Mixed fleets with few TI+: Same as above, follow the FT/CR attack with an FT/HC attack

Mixed fleets with a lot of TI+: FT to clear meat, then FT/CR/HC attack (I don't advocate doing this often; I only say to do so here because the ratios are better. Alternately, if you have enough HC to one shot it, you could use an FT/HC fleet.)

Any of the above over a base with 12-13+ CC: Don't attack unless necessary. Attempt to lure the fleet off base before killing it. Otherwise, FT drop to kill meat and then FT/CR finish

Rings and P-Shields: Use FT/CR (Make sure you have enough to one shot the defenses! You want to take these down with as few losses as possible!)

Titans/Levis: FT/HC with CV and DE to distribute damage

Death Stars: FT/CR/BS with CV and DE to distribute (will need between 150-250 BS. Or if you're like me and don't want to build BS, 300k FT + 20k CR will do the trick.)

Cruiser/HC heavy fleets: FT drop to clear meat, HB drop to kill off as many CR/HC as possible, finish up with FT/CR attack with CV and DE to assist and distribute damage. Remember to use HC in a follow up attack if there are capital ships.)

Bases:

Economy: Crystalline, Asteroid
Production: Rocky, Asteroid, Craters, Metallic
Research: Rocky, Arid/Tundra, Gaia

Note: Rockies are good for everything. Upgraded accounts should try for only Rocky Moons and Asteroids. Throw in maybe one or two crystallines if you can find them.

Defenses:

Note: This is primarily for Upgraded accounts. For Free accounts, the standards are lower as there is not as much area to work with. If you don't have rings, you should put them as top priority in your research and construction queues.

10/10 Plasma Turrets
10/10 Ion Turrets
1k fighters
5 CC

lvl 20-25:
10/10 Photon Turrets

5/5 Deflection Shields
2k fighters
10 CC

lvl 30-40
10/10 Disruptor Turrets
5/5 Deflector Shields
5/5 Planetary Rings
5/5 Planetary Shields
4-5k fighters
10 CC

lvl 45
10/10 Disruptor Turrets
5/5 Planetary Shields
10/10 Planetary Rings
8-10k fighters
12 CC

lvl 50
10/10 Disruptor Turrets
10/10 Planetary Shields

10k fighters
12 CC (15 CC on jumpgates/major prod bases/where you store your fleet)

Lvl 60+ (minimum)
10/10 Disruptor Turrets
10/10 Planetary Shields
15/15 Planetary Rings
4-5k fighters per ring
15 CC (18CC+ where you keep your fleet, on jumpgates, etc.)
